Our client, an established and successful bank, is looking for a motivated person for the position of Head of Compensation and Benefits.
Main responsibilities:

Lead a team tasked with overseeing employee compensation, benefits, and HR analytics, including payroll processes.

Oversee employee incentive programs, including bonuses and stock options, to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Ensure adherence to European Central Bank (ECB) and Croatian National Bank (CNB) regulations concerning compensation and benefits.

Develop and execute strategies for precise staff cost forecasting and budgeting in line with organizational goals.

Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.

Conduct market analysis to benchmark the bank’s offerings, recommending adjustments for competitiveness.

Collaborate with HR to align compensation strategies with business objectives and financial goals.

Serve as a primary liaison for compensation and benefits matters, offering guidance across the organization.

Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to labor laws, data privacy, and reporting requirements.
Required skills, knowledge and experience:

Master's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits area

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project and/or people management

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions

Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English

Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, with emphasis on MS Excel; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage
