Component Engineer (m/f/d)
Location: Solin
Main responsibilities:
- Designs and develops components within the assigned project scope in accordance with contractual requirements, internal standards, and project constraints related to timeline, budget, and quality
- Creates and delivers engineering outputs, including 3D models, drawings, layouts, and technical documentation, while ensuring compliance with Voith design guidelines and applicable international standards
- Verifies constructability and technical interfaces in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and supports design reviews throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensures the completeness and accuracy of engineering documentation, including technical specifications, ITP requirements, and material master data, and maintains these throughout project execution
- Utilizes CAD and SAP systems for design development, BOM management, and documentation control
- Monitors engineering deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget project execution and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives through lessons learned and design optimization
Required skills, knowledge and experience:
- Degree Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar engineering or design role
- Experience with engineering tools such as 3D CAD systems and Engineering Base or comparable software
- Strong technical understanding of design processes and engineering standards
- Structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented working approach
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
