To support its continued growth and expansion in Croatia, the company is looking for a proactive and results-oriented leader for the position of:
Country Sales Manager
Location: Zagreb
Main responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and motivate the entire sales organization in Croatia, while building a high-performance culture and ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration
- Spend the majority of time in the field coaching the sales team, supporting customer visits, and ensuring effective execution of commercial strategies
- Manage key customer relationships, lead strategic negotiations, and support the development of new business opportunities
- Drive sales planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring in close cooperation with Finance and Supply Chain teams
- Ensure the achievement of sales and financial targets while continuously improving revenue, margins, and overall commercial performance
- Oversee customer payment performance and collections to support healthy business growth and minimize commercial risk
- Lead the annual sales budgeting process and define commercial priorities, growth initiatives, and resource requirements for the Croatian market
- Monitor market developments, customer trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and provide actionable business insights
Required skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial/sales experience, preferably in FMCG
- Proven experience managing a sizeable sales organization
- Strong experience in field sales management and customer negotiations
- Experience managing both managers/supervisors and frontline sales representatives
- Proven experience in sales planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Strong understanding of customer receivables and collection processes
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills
- Strong analytical and commercial capabilities
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in Croatian and English
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively throughout Croatia
