For our client, a leading international FMCG company, we are seeking a motivated and highly organized individual to join their team in the position of:
Finance and Operations Manager (m/f/d)
Location: Zagreb
This role is responsible for leading and overseeing finance, customer service administration, and business operations, ensuring strong financial control, cash flow management, compliance, and efficient support of commercial activities in Croatia and Slovenia.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and financial controls
- Oversee accounts receivable, collections, credit control, and supplier payments
- Prepare monthly management reports, KPIs, and financial insights for headquarters
- Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, customs, and statutory requirements
- Monitor inventory valuation, logistics costs, and stock controls
- Partner with Sales and Management on pricing, profitability, and commercial decisions
- Lead and develop the Finance and Operations team
- Oversee administrative processes, documentation, and external service providers
Required skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in finance, controlling, accounting, or a similar senior finance role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and working capital management
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
- Experience managing receivables, credit control, and financial compliance
- Advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge (Dynamics 365 is an advantage)
- Fluent Croatian and English
