We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated professional to join their team in the position of:
Sourcing Manager (m/f/d)

Main responsibilities:
- Manages the full operational procurement process, including RFQs, order placement, and supplier selection in close coordination with Material Group Management (MGM)
- Defines material requirements based on purchase requisitions and project schedules and aligns them with the existing supplier portfolio
- Collects, consolidates, and compares supplier offers, ensuring transparency and comparability across all cost elements
- Performs total cost analyses and collaborates with relevant stakeholders to identify and select the most suitable supplier
- Independently negotiates commercial terms within the designated area of responsibility to achieve optimal purchasing conditions
- Executes purchase orders in SAP and maintains relevant procurement and contract management systems
- Manages supplier contracts, including warranty claims, shipment readiness notifications, and contract change management activities
- Conducts regular supplier status meetings and ensures timely delivery through active expediting and progress tracking
- Handles supplier claims and supports invoice processing to ensure efficient financial workflows
Required skills, knowledge, and experience:
- A degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field)
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, ideally in plant or mechanical engineering
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office and SAP or comparable ERP systems
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Team-oriented, goal-driven, and strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel for business purposes (approx. 10%)
