Consent for the processing of personal data for the purpose of the selection procedure
As part of the employment selection process, SELECTIO d.o.o., headquartered at Strojarska cesta 20, 10000 Zagreb, OIB: 18518491403, as the data controller, processes the personal data of candidates applying for positions with the agency’s clients.

The processing of candidates’ personal data is carried out for the purpose of conducting the selection process, including communication with the candidate, conducting interviews, assessing knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as making hiring decisions. Data may also be used to include candidates in a database for possible future opportunities, but only with the candidate’s additional consent.
During the selection process, data provided directly by the candidate is collected, such as: name and surname, contact details, CV, information on education, work experience, qualifications, professional skills, and the content of cover letters, applications, and references. If the interview is conducted online, the conversation may be recorded or transcribed, and such data is also processed solely for the purpose of selection and professional assessment. In case of audio-visual recording of testing, please click the appropriate option, otherwise we will not be able to carry out the testing due to technical limitations of the system. We especially emphasize that we do not process special categories of data, such as your biometrics, etc.
Personal data may be shared with third parties, including the agency’s clients (potential employers), only when necessary to make hiring decisions. Data may also be processed by trusted external service providers (e.g., for technical support, evaluations, or testing), with all legally prescribed data protection measures applied. Data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area unless there is a legal basis and appropriate safeguards.

To streamline and ensure transparency in the entire testing process and the processing of results, we rely on available tools, which include the use of large language models, so-called “AI.”
The purpose of using the mentioned AI model is the efficient and transparent processing of personal data. Access to personal data is restricted to us exclusively, or to you if you request access to your personal data.

By agreeing to testing, you also consent to the use of the AI model. You can obtain more information about the specific language model by sending an inquiry to the addresses below, but above all please keep in mind that we do not perform atomized processing of personal data, i.e. we do not make decisions that would have legal effects on you based on automated processing, including profiling. A real person is involved in every decision-making process, and in this type of processing you retain all rights granted to you by the GDPR (Article 22).
Candidate data will be stored for the duration of the selection process and no longer than six (6) years after its completion, or longer if prescribed by our internal documents, especially the Legitimate Interest Assessment (“LIA”), which you can access by submitting a separate request (we particularly emphasize that the LIA prescribes cases when the law requires us to retain personal data longer, or, for example, when it is necessary to protect the rights and interests of our company, noting that we have previously conducted a proportionality test). If the candidate gives consent for data retention for the possibility of being contacted regarding future job openings, the data will be stored until the consent is withdrawn or until the period of 12 months expires, after which it will be deleted or anonymized.
A candidate has the right at any time to request access to their personal data, correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, deletion of data, restriction of processing, data portability to another controller, and to lodge an objection to the processing. Access is requested by sending an email to szop@selectio.hr or by post to the address Selectio d.o.o. (Zagreb, Strojarska cesta 20).
The candidate has the right to withdraw the given consent at any time, without negative consequences, by sending a request to the email address szop@selectio.hr or by sending a request to the address Selectio d.o.o. (Zagreb, Strojarska cesta 20). Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.
If the candidate believes that their rights have been violated, they have the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), at the address azop@azop.hr or by sending a letter to: Zagreb, Ulica Metela Ožegovića 16.

By giving this consent, I confirm that I am familiar with all information regarding the processing of my personal data. I give my consent partially (I can give it for each of the options listed below or for all) voluntarily, knowingly and in an informed manner, and I understand that I can withdraw it at any time.
