For our client, Josef Manner & Comp. AG, one of Austria’s most traditional and recognized confectionery companies, we are seeking a motivated and highly organized individual to join their team in the position of:

National Key Account Manager Croatia

Location: Zagreb/remote

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop, and maintain strategic relationships with key customers across the Croatian market
  • Drive sales growth through both direct and indirect sales channels
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand distribution and strengthen the sales network
  • Coordinate and support distributor activities to ensure effective market execution
  • Provide ongoing customer support to maximize sales performance and commercial results
  • Plan, organize, and execute sales and promotional activities in line with business objectives
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives in collaboration with local partners and external agencies
  • Take full ownership of business results and performance development within the Croatian market

Required skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or FMCG commercial roles
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of the Croatian retail landscape and strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics, with specific experience in the confectionery industry preferred
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is considered an advantage
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth through innovative commercial approaches and effective stakeholder communication
  • Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with national retail customers and key stakeholders
  • Highly independent and proactive professional with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and personal initiative
  • Results-oriented mindset with demonstrated responsibility for achieving business objectives and revenue targets
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to develop and execute long-term customer and business plans
