We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated professional to join our international Client’s team in the position of:
Facility Manager (m/f/d)
Location: Zagreb
Main responsibilities:
- Overseeing building operations, including maintenance of facilities, grounds, utilities, communications infrastructure, and space management
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and responding effectively to emergencies or urgent issues
- Managing service contracts and vendor relationships, including security, cleaning, waste management, and other outsourced services
- Leading tendering processes, evaluating supplier options and negotiating contracts
- Planning, coordinating, and supervising projects, contractors, and improvement works
- Supporting strategic planning, including future development, space optimisation, relocation feasibility, and change management initiatives
- Monitoring service performance, implementing continuous improvement measures, and leading sustainability initiatives
- Liaising with tenants and internal stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency and high service standards
Required skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Relevant technical education or background with previous experience in facility management, preferably within retail or multi-site environments
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and facility operations best practices
- Experience managing suppliers and service providers, ensuring operational efficiency and service excellence
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively
- Results-driven with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
