Group Market & Liquidity Risk Specialist (m/f/d)

Location: Zagreb

This role provides strategic oversight of IRRBB, supports risk capital allocation, and optimizes market risk exposure through stress testing, modeling, and reporting. It also involves preparing Group-level risk reports, supporting ALCO, while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of regulatory and internal market risk reporting.

Main responsibilities:

  • Strategical overview of IRRBB developments, supporting the risk capital allocation strategy and optimization of risk exposure setup
  • Executing and analyzing stress tests for market risks and preparing detailed IRRBB reports
  • Creating comprehensive Group risk management reports and supporting the Group ALCO Committee with the focus on IRRBB management
  • Providing methodological support for the Risk Manager tool and developing, maintaining, and implementing models for market risks
  • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of market risk reports and establishing processes for timely regulatory reporting
  • Performing market risk tasks, including daily reporting, accounting reports and monthly derivative tasks

Required skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or similar
  • Experience in Market & Liquidity Risk Management, Financial Regulations and EBA Guidelines
  • Fluent in English and excel at communicating complex topics clearly and effectively
  • Proficiency in MS 365 and experience in SAS, SQL, R, or Python
  • You are a dedicated team player with a strong service orientation, known for your proactivity and meticulous attention to detail
  • You demonstrate a professional and diligent approach to your work, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and projects
