The Modern Trade Manager - Croatia is responsible for business expansion in the off-trade channel, especially in leading hypermarket and supermarket chains. The main tasks are negotiating with customers, defining annual plans and contracts, monitoring the effective implementation of trade agreements, and managing relations with key players in the market.
Main responsibilities:
- Set the commercial strategy for the off-trade channel.
- Negotiate commercial agreements with key accounts.
- Manage and support team members.
- Maintain positive relationships with key accounts.
- Monitor the execution of off-trade commercial plans.
- Estimate sales forecasts for the off-trade channel.
- Monitor sales for key accounts.
- Implement sales strategies to increase revenue.
- Collaborate fruitfully with other departments: Finance, Logistics, Customer Service and Marketing.
- Carry out recurring visits to the most important accounts.
Required skills, knowledge and experience:
- University degree or higher education diploma
- 10 years of experience in international FMCG companies or for leading hypermarket/supermarket chains.
- Previous experience in modern trade.
- Fluent Croatian and English.
- Fluent German considered a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong market and analytical skills.
- Ability to prepare accurate budgets and estimates.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Clean driving license.
- Work permit for EU countries
