HR Manager
Location: Zagreb (hybrid)
HR Manager is responsible for overseeing, creating, and coordinating the group practices on local level. This role combines strategic and operational HR responsibilities, supporting management in aligning HR processes with business goals while driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, and compliance.
Key requirements:
• Providing proactive support to managers and employees on various HR topics, offering guidance and actionable solutions
• Serving as a local HR point of contact, collaborating closely with site leadership
• Designing and executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent while promoting Marlink through employer branding initiatives
• Anticipating and planning staffing requirements in alignment with business goals with management
• Developing people development initiatives, including training, coaching, and career growth
• Managing and optimizing the employee benefit program
• Participating in salary benchmarking studies and recommending competitive salary structures
• Overseeing and ensuring accuracy in payroll administration and reporting
• Aligning company policies and organizational requirements with local labour laws and regulations
• Handling all legal documentation related to the employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, and terminations
Required skills, knowledge and experience:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related fields
• 8+ years of HR experience, ideally in a multinational and/or tech-focused organization
• Proven success in employer branding and scaling up HR functions for fast-growing organizations
• Expertise in recruitment strategies, employee retention, and career development
• Strong communications, negotiation and presentation skills
• Advanced verbal and written communications skills in English
• Hands-on and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
